Psalm 37:21

"The wicked borrows and does not repay,
But the righteous shows mercy and gives."

The wicked or ungodly are ruled by greed.  They can never
have enough.  They want all that they can lay their hands on
and more.  I'm afraid our world is ruled by greed.  If abortion
was not a money-making business, do you really think we
would have abortion clinics?  The whole mess last year on
Wall Street was because greed caused people to become
dishonest with other people's money.  Greed can never be
satisfied!  Be careful, greed is sneaky.  It will slip in and
and give you a little sweet taste and leave you craving more.

A good way to combat this is to develop a habit of giving.
Give to the poor, share with your neighbors, give that server
an extra big tip.  Give to ministries that are faithful to God's
calling.  Don't hold on so tightly to anything material that you
could not give it away if God asks you to.
