Three Reasons to Worship GOD

On my birthday one year, God gave me a birthday present. Sitting on a bench in the woods with my honey (which we arrived at by way of the newly blazed trail that my honey made for me) I was just struck by the beauty of the woods. Acting kind of silly I told my honey," I know who made that tree, my Father made it". I then pointed out several other trees He made. In fact, He made them all. I was aware that everything I could see from my bench was 'God-made', there was nothing in view that was man-made. He made the hills, the creek, the rocks, the wildflowers and yes ,even the poison ivy. He made the birds that we could hear in the trees and the bugs that were being repelled by our maximum strength deet. I recognized and praised our Creator.
It had been an overcast day and then all of a sudden one little ray of sunshine broke through and cast its light across the water in the creek making it sparkle like diamonds.

I thought to myself there's Jesus, the Light of the world, revealing the hidden truths. The trees had been very still, not a leaf moving the whole time I sat there. Did I see a movement off to my side in a low hanging branch? First one leaf did a dance and then some tall weeds joined in. I could feel a light breeze brush across and around me. I just knew that He was there. The Holy Spirit who sometimes comes as a mighty rushing wind had just made His presence felt through that light breeze that was soft as a baby's breath and full of love. I had to share with my honey what our Father, Son and Holy Spirit had just done. I knew in my heart of hearts that They, that Holy Trio, the Trinity, the Triune God had just given me the best birthday present ever.
